]]>2. Favorite Holiday Tradition – We know there are a variety of traditions across the U.S. and the world, and that many of them revolve around food – our favorite past time! So, naturally, our favorite holiday tradition is baking cookies! Whether you’re making them for Santa or your loved ones, this custom is one for everyone to enjoy.
3. Favorite Holiday Activity – Ice skating! We may not be as graceful as the professional ice skaters out there, but we can still pretend. This activity is great to do with friends, family, or on your own! Show off your skills this holiday season.
4. Favorite Holiday Drink – For us folk who are stuck in the wintery and colder parts of the country, this one is a no brainer. Hot chocolate is the perfect drink to cuddle between our frozen fingers. Mix it in with marshmallows or whipped cream – we prefer both – and you’ll be good to go.
5. Favorite Holiday Essential – With colder weeks ahead, many of us will be turning on the heaters in our homes, workplaces, etc. This, along with the lack of moisture outdoors, will take a toll on your skin. Make sure to grab your favorite moisturizer and apply everywhere! Your skin will thank you! We recommend using a medicated brand, such as Cetaphil, that doesn’t contain heavy scents or super harsh chemicals.
Happy Holidays!!!

]]>The post Helpful Tips For Thanksgiving Dinner appeared first on The Flair Exchange®.
]]>Hosting a Thanksgiving dinner doesn’t mean you have to break the bank. While it is important to make sure there’s enough for everyone, you also don’t want to go overboard on your shopping. Therefore,
Tip #1 – Have people RSVP before the day comes. It’s easy to create an RSVP list online and to send it out through a mass email. Our favorite website to use is https://rsvpify.com/. You can customize your list any way you want!
Once you know how many people to expect, it’ll be easy to figure out how much you’ll be spending.
Tip #2 – Think like a chef and make a plan for how much food you’ll be making and purchasing. For example, you’re having 10 people over for dinner. A 10-12 pound turkey should give everyone a good enough meat portion. But if you happen to have some leftover turkey, it won’t be the end of the world.
Tip #3 – You don’t have to supply every single dish. You can always ask guests to bring something if they’d like and most of the time people are happy to do it. Thanksgiving is tricky because there is a LOT to choose from when it comes to side dishes and dessert. So guests will most likely offer to bring something along.
If you’re just dining with close family members, make side dishes you know they like. If there is extended family included, a potluck would be a great idea. Don’t bite off more than you can chew.
Tip #4 – Buy ingredients and necessary things online before prices go up. Walmart and Amazon offer reasonable prices for items that can be stored for a long time. If you prefer shopping in-store, buy items that stretch out your dollars. Potatoes, green beans, salad, and more are inexpensive items that can go a long way.
Get ready to be the best host ever with these awesome tips! Have any other tips you’d like to add? Comment below.
Happy Thanksgiving!

I mean, we haven’t even entered the month of October for goodness sake!!! Instead of counting down until Christmas and fretting about the holiday parties and what one might wear ( and stressing everyone out ), I’m choosing to slow down a little bit this fall and just enjoy it. And when I sit down to enjoy crisp, cool weather, it’s usually with a cup of coffee and maybe a treat in hand.
