Regardless of how you’re celebrating Mother’s Day this weekend, we think these frozen mimosas are a Sunday necessity. If you’re lucky enough to spend the weekend with family, show them your mixology skills by whipping up these frozen bevvies.
Frozen Mimosas For Mother’s Day
1 Cup freshly squeezed OJ, 1 cup light whipping cream, 1/2 cup sugar, zest of 1 orange and your favorite sparkling wine. * we used prosecco.
In a food processor blend OJ, zest and sugar – blend thoroughly and stir in whipping cream.
Pour mixture in a shallow baking dish and place in freezer. Freeze for 4 – 6 hours or until completely frozen.
For serving – allow mixture to soften slightly before scooping. Scoop frozen mixture into champagne flutes and top with champagne or prosecco.
