How to Make a Margarita for a foodie

As Cinco de Mayo quickly approaches I thought I’d share one of my favorite margaritas. I titled this post ‘How to make a margarita for a foodie’ because I imagine a foodie attending your parties would LOVE this. It isn’t your typical margarita, in fact it is very far from that. This margarita uses pineapple juice and chili powder, spicy! Well, not really. Chili powder happens to be more smokey than spicy, so this isn’t one of those ‘I dare you’ types of drinks. Instead it is sweet and salty. This drink would pair well with spicy salsas and dips. Imagine a salsa bar full of salsa, chutney and guacamole!

Yesterday I shared the entire set up for the perfect backyard Cinco soirée. So, today I’m just covering that fancy cocktail!
