How to set up a margarita station

I love little backyard parties! After all I feel most comfortable and ‘at home’ in my backyard, making it the most ideal location for entertaining. We are lucky to have a very large backyard, so there is ample space for yard games, lounging and entertaining guests. Even if you don’t have a ton of space you can set up this simple margarita station in your backyard and WOW your Cinco de Mayo guests! This margarita station is simple and inexpensive.

I took my ikea shelf outside, I’m not afraid to take indoor furniture outside!  I put a bright tassel garland on the front, filled a glass pitcher with color appropriate carnations ( yes! I still love them ) and finally placed my beverage necessities on top. The finished product is flawless and something that can be accomplished in 15 minutes. Imagine popping by the grocer on your way home from work, grabbing flowers and pineapple and being ready for guests within minutes!

Carnations make great inexpensive floral arrangements. While some feel they are an inferior flower, I tend to disagree. They are available almost year ’round and come in such a variety of colors that they are sure to match your décor selections.
