Pumpkin Spice Caramel Apple Recipe

Pumpkin Spice Caramel Apple

It’s officially fall so it’s about time we get to making some fall treats! I love the nostalgia of a caramel apple, and I’m pretty sure your party guests will too! Normally we’d be buying the kits to quickly make these treats, but I thought it’d be fun to create a little spin on the traditional caramel apple and do a pumpkin pie spice flavor ( because you know how crazy we all be about the PSL! ).

We’ve partnered with International Delight for this Pumpkin Spice Caramel Apple Recipe.

Ingredients:

2 cups packed brown sugar

1 cup light corn syrup

1/2 cup butter

pinch of salt

1 tablespoon vanilla extract

1 cup Pumpkin Pie Spice Coffee Creamer

10 Small Granny Smith apples

10 popsicle sticks

Instructions:

  1. Add butter, brown sugar, corn syrup and salt to a sauce pan. Leaving temperature on low cook for approximately 10-12 minutes monitoring closely.
  2. Add Pumpkin Pie Spice Creamer and continue cooking until mixture reaches the hard ball stage of candy. To be sure of your stage utilize a candy thermometer.
  3. Remove from heat and gently stir in vanilla.
  4. Insert popsicle sticks into the top of apples, and gently coat each apple with the still warm caramel.
