With just a few days left until St. Patty’s Day, I thought I’d share a quick little tutorial that you can use to dress up anything! These shamrock cake toppers could go in pancakes, pastries and even work as a swizzle stick. I keep various length bamboo skewers on hand so that I can whip up fancy sticks for any type of entertaining. I chose to work with the traditional long ones on this project, but If you wanted to turn these glitter shamrocks into swizzle sticks you’d the 6 inchers. If you aren’t keen on the green and shamrocks, try the gold cocktail skewers and rainbow party!

Supplies:

Bamboo Skewers

Holiday Decorative Wire

Step 1: Cut 12 inches of decorative wire from spool and begin twisting around skewer about 3/4 the way up from the bottom.

Step 3: Continue twisting until length of wire has reach the top, time excess.
