I must admit that I am a little neurotic when it comes to reusing and recycling. I unfortunately know that the magic act of the garbage truck is an illusion and my waste ends up in a land fill. I’ve been scheming to create some jello shooters for a few weeks now, dreaming of what flavors and libations I’d mix together.  It may come as a surprise to you but jello shots are no stranger of mine (he he). I will insert a caveat here and say that the jello shots I am accustomed to creating are suited for the taste buds of a college student and not the visual acceptance of a classy lady.  Ha ha, I just make myself laugh sometimes. Seriously though, I want to make these tasty treats pleasing to the eye and not served in a miniature plastic salad dressing cup that was lifted by my bestie from the restaurant she serves tables at....

The fourth of July holiday is very special to me as most of them have been spent on balmy summer nights with cocktails and dear friends. We celebrate the comfort of being in such a fortunate place.
